Honestly, what is it with the waitstaff at MAS? These people must make too much money by default to care about their customers. I’ve been there way too many times and dealt with bitchy servers, annoyed hostesses, etc. What gives?
Sure, all waitpeople secretly hate customers, but at MAS you really don’t have to wait very long until you realize this. Have other fellow Mas eaters experienced the same thing?

I have had similar experiences as have all of us no doubt. Thing is my hunch tells me that any of these servers if rpped from Mas and deposited at a more congenial restaurant would provide more attentive service. It must be something in the cultcha or perhaps the lay of the land. Having to run the gauntlet that is the looooong, clogged aisle b/w bar and tables eight million times a night can’t be any fun.
MAS is a tapas bar… what type of service do you really expect? I have never been treated poorly there. I think they do a great job considering how packed that place is and with having to take SO MANY trips to EVERY table to deliver multiple courses over and over and over again….
@ 3 That makes no sense OR it supports my thesis, one of the two. No they often have shit box attitudes and will leave you hangin for hours. But if the problem is the tapas schtick and the crowds, then Mas needs more servers on staff. Yes. I am not looking to lay blame on the staff if the fault lies with management, but I am looking to lay blame somewhere… and no not on myself.
I blame bush!
i blame the liberals. bunch of godless tax raisers.
some people raise cattle, some raise children, some raise taxless gods
that is ridiculous. god should pay just as much taxes as the rest of us.
also, why are we in this ten thousand year old thread?
