Hey Folks, we just wanted to do a quick shoutout and thank everyone for reading our site. We want to make this Charlottesville’s premier information, gossip and news source.
We will have over 2000 visits and 6000 page views for May!
Considering most of our readers are local community members, this is fantastic. We do ask that you continue to participate in the polls, in the forums, and as a registered user. If you scroll down to the bottom right of the page, you can log in and use the “Write” tab to create your first review, gossip piece, or what have you. If you don’t want to go through that effort, just email us at: gossip <at> cvillain dot com .
We now have five contributing community member, Iron, coco NUT, Lilith, the Fearless Avenger and myself.
We need more viewpoints! We need more suggestions! We will have a lot more restaurant reviews coming up this summer, but we can’t be everywhere and know everything. It’s a call to arms and I hope that you join our villainous gang.
P.S. Does anyone know anything about the pack of ravenous human runners that tours Belmont at 6:30AM?

Perhaps the “write” tag is only available to those who are approved contributors? For now, I’ve posted all my tidbits as comments or forum posts.
You can’t write anything? Anyone should be able to write as long as they register. Publishing is controlled by us initially for formatting and content issues. But we have published everything people have submitted so far.
Hey, I love this blog and just wrote something… what are the rules, by the way? For language, etc.?
As for Belmont mystery people, I do wonder about the crowd of 50-100 teenagers being escorted by several blinking but silent police cars a few Saturdays ago around 11:30 pm (I was at Mas). Never did hear about it, other than another blogger mentioning a “riot.”
Some bizarre things go on in this town…
maiaoming, Outskirts wrote about that on his blog. It had something to do with a dance letting out, I think.

As far as wrting posts goes, you should be able to get in! Play around with the site a little. Is there a “site admin” link at the bottom of the right column for you? You’ll register, and then you use the “site admin” link to post subsequent blogs.
