Artini Martini Predictions for 2007

Rumor on the street is that over 700 tickets have been sold. Can someone verify this?

Seems like Ten and X-Lounge went eye for an eye. Hopefully there was no ballet stuffing. I didn’t really enjoy Ten’s Artini, so I’m a little curious as to why it’s in second place. I am awaiting the real results though. Second Street Gallery will raise oodles of money!

You actually voted based on the merits of the drink? Silly Thor. I voted for Kiki because that’s my favorite place (and I actually do like their martini, though I didn’t sample any others), so there was no ballet stuffing on my part, though I have to admit I’ve seen a few ballerinas in my day I wouldn’t mind “stuffing”… ;)

I can neither confirm nor deny reports that I am the #1 ticket purchaser by number this year. I am very much looking forward to the event and I hope to see y’all there (even though I don’t know anyone on this site!)

I have been promised that they will “make it rain” like last year, though what this may entail I can’t even imagine.

Thor knows I found the results annoying. If any of you had gone to OXO to try theirs, you would know it is the best. The Murano is also a really well designed drink, in aesthetic and taste. It’s practically irredescent. Both drinks don’t taste like any of their ingredients. It’s like the wholes are greater than the sums of their parts.

Actually, fine. Be that way. More David Hockneys for me.

Ourskirts reports that Artini was out of alcohol by 11 PM. Anyone want to confirm?

My little group hopped around Belmont, going from Mas to La Taza (James makes great margaritas!) to Saxx. My ears and tummy were very pleased!
