What’s in Store This Weekend?

Ah, yes F.R.I.D.A.Y. = Fun Recreation and Inebriation Days Ahead, Yesssssssssss. Ok, that was pretty bad, but here are some ideas for this weekend:

  • Lot’s of potential protesting!!!
  • Friday @ 7:3o PM, Dating workshop! Imagine the possibilities!
  • Go Hiking! Fall is almost here and there are lots of pretty trails, especially when the leaves begin to change. Maybe we can share some good hiking ideas. I really like St. Mary’s Wilderness Area. Suggestions?
  • Bars – I think this week we need to focus on funny/failed pickup lines. I know you ladies have some stories to share. Remember them from this weekend and report back, please!

I saw a lot of shows this weekend, but nothing looked particularly interesting. What else is going on?

I’ll get people started. Pick-up lines from guys I overheard and received last night, respectively:

“So what, do you go to school here or something?”
    and
    “Are you into Bjork?”

Dont forget about the Toga party this Sat at X Lounge. Sure to be plenty of cheesy pick up lines there like “Greg, honey, is it supposed to be this soft?” with Animal House projected on the wall.

Last female I tried chatting up in a bar environment responded to “so what do you do for fun?” with “oh, y’know, smoke up…” Haven’t tried it since.

So lilith, *are* you into Bjork?

Well Marshall! He certainly got my attention. And I like Bjork as an international superstar with that “f* you, and I mean that in a nice way” attitude, but her music– little dissonant. And 15 minutes later the gentleman and I parted ways.

I actually, honestly, used the line “Got any scottish in you? No? Want some?”

Got me a nice long kiss, which is far more than it deserved…
