It’s Kiki on a Friday! As long as the woman behind the bar is there… what other women need come? (I mean that with no disrespect. We’re all in love with her.) The past few weeks, I’ve actually intended to go in and kept walking. I love men (yes, I love men more) but men, you know how you think large groups of women are frightening? Ahem. Disperse, please.

Is the bartender girl really as hot as everyone says?

    I can’t judge that for you Ethan…

Hot or not, though, she’s one of the finest people you’ll ever meet.

How huge were the crowds? The place is a closet!

I can’t remember the number, but Mr. Kiki told me how many people they were cleared to have in that space and how many he intended on having in the space. The difference between the two was pretty big, which, among some other things, made me question how committed he was to really take care of his customers. I like being comfortable in a bar and being packed in does not make me feel comfortable.

Now, Mr. Kiki and his highly buoyant girlfriend have sold the place, so perhaps the ladies behind the bar can comment on that (and where Jamaica went…she definitely had a crowd that followed here there when it opened).

i can’t speak on the behalf of Mr. Kiki since i didn’t work there when he was a partial owner, or for how the atmosphere feels on the other side of the bar when it’s crowded, but i can say that jamaica works on saturdays and def. still has her following

    .. and thanks d’oy!

D’oy: Thanks for the compliment. I didn’t see you. :( Then again I was a little tipsy on Sarah’s awesome painkillers…
To the Upstart: “Mr Kiki” hasn’t been that for quite awhile and that’s his WIFE. You obviously don’t know what’s going on so stick a sock in it.

    Sure you did sha-nay-nay. ;)

I already mentioned that he’s no longer involved, but that doesn’t change the size of the room. I obviously am no fan of his, so I clearly don’t keep track of his social life.

I’ve been around long enough to know that he is Mrs. Kiki’s second husband.

ugh. i intentionally skip kiki on saturdays BECASUE of the crowd that followed Jamaica. i thought ofter southern culture closed i would not have to deal with those folks ever again. i was wrong.
she’s a pretty good bartender, but nothing to write home about. i’d rather go to c&o or the divide…………………
