The dreaded Miller’s has $2 bourbons on sundays.
Eppies has $2 bottles(anything they offer, pretty good stuff) on thursdays.
Michael’s Bistro offers the only environment worth visiting on the corner seven days a week.
escafé has $5 “orange crushes” on wednesday nights.
/not that there’s anything wrong with that.
McGrady’s has $1 drafts and $4 pitchers for happy hour every day.
I don’t think they’re $1 drafts at McGrady’s, I think it’s X dollar amount off, so most of the drafts (domestic) are $1. Some are still going to be a few dollars. It’s also $2 off appetizers, I think. Orbit is $2 drafts, and they’ve got a great selection. I’ve gone to Three on the Corner after work on two Tuesdays in a row. It’s $2 off of drafts, so that made Hoegaarden an amazing $3. I think it’s also $2 off of appetizers. Considering that I pass by Three and Orbit on my walk home from work, I’m more likely to go to a Corner bar than a Downtown bar for happy hour. It is especially good that the bars are mostly empty at 5 pm.
Yes, Orbit is still $2 drafts and $3 rail drinks during happy hour. They have other daily drink specials, but I don’t remember them all. Dave at the bar upstairs makes a kickass margarita, though.
