What Went Wrong This Weekend?

Crozet Music Fest

Earth to the person who decided to SEPERATE THE BEER SECTION FROM THE MUSIC SECTION. Wow, that was really, poorly planned. Why did they decide to make it difficult for people drinking beer to see the music? Did you do market research? We really apologize to cVillain readers who went out there and wanted to drink beer and listen to music, because you obviously couldn’t have enjoyed those two things at the same time. Oh wait it’s a sin. We wouldn’t want to taint virgin Crozet.

Chocolate Festival

Ok, if you were anything like us you probably expected to visit a “Chocolate Festival” to experience…well…Chocolate. Maybe Gearhart’s would attend, perhaps there would be a chocolate fountain and even better, a variety of chocolates from all over the State or even the world. NOPE. Apparantly Chocolate festival means:

Let’s put a few pieces of Chocolate in a glass vase and sell it for $25. Hey, we don’t even need to have any chocolatiers there, cVillains are easily fooled.

Somehow they totally missed the whole meaning of Chocolate festival, but maybe we’d inhaled too much nitrous. Who knows?

What else went wrong this weekend?

Re: Chocolate Festival. I agree it was a let-down. I had the same sort of expectations you did. I’d have to say the biggest chocolate props should go to the Melting Pot, who had a lovely showing. $1 for a cup of fruit smothered in chocolate sauce was a better deal than anything else there!

The only problem I had this weekend (didn’t attend any festivities) is in trying to figure out where my CVillain strategy is going wrong.

I ask every guy “Are you Thor?” and every woman “Are you Lillith?” and so far nobody has answered “yes”. I don’t know if it’s because they saw through my little ruse or because I haven’t asked the right people yet.

The word that I got on the Crozet Music Festival and the beer situation was that ABC showed up that morning and said that they had to have a designated drinking area so they had to throw one up shortly before everyone came and it had to be by the beer trucks. Big bummer for the organizers, but at least it was somewhat innocent.

wintergreen’s paintball course is much smaller than i thought. worked out ok since we had a small turnout, but that course can’t support more than 8 for a good game.

I saw Mute Math and can’t figure out what the big deal is. So they have big flashing lights, good for them.

Couldn’t get into Oxo on saturday night… went to escafe instead and me and two ladies from out of town were the only people willing to dance.

oh and one of my roomates and a bandmate COCK-BLOCKED MY THREESOME. Although it was later agreed upon that one of the girls more than likely carried an STD, so they were actually saving the day.

Videohippos at the Tea House tonight! It’s gonna be the sick nasty.

Wilco was pretty rad on Saturday, but otherwise I spent Friday night ironing – yes, you read that correctly, you now know know exactly how lame I am.
