Donate to the Jayne McGowan AIDS/HIV Services Group Fund

Given your interest, we have setup a PayPal donation account for Jayne McGowan’s non-profit. DeParis Redinger LLC will pass on all of the proceeds to the AIDS/HIV Services Group (less PayPal’s obnoxious fees). We have talked with the the non-profit and as long as you provide personal information (name + address) in your donation, they will send you the standard non profit donation form so you can write it off your taxes.

    depends if you can live with the fees or not, and the value of your time. personally, i hate paypal, so it was well worth it for me to learn the google API, $ savings aside.

    i was about to say i’m surprised that paypal charges transaction fees on fundraising, but then i caught myself. there has to be other fundraising alternatives (aside from google checkout) that don’t charge merchant fees.

    not sure if Convio charges fees, don’t have the time right now to dig further, but:

    I checked and it’s too complicated to do those things and paypal is easy enough. People can always send their checks directly to the organization if the fees bother them.. now.. donate away! The fees are 2.9% + 30 cents.
