We’ve asked one of our readers to DJ, but have not gotten a response yet. Maybe he will read this and come out of his shell. Do you want to DJ? If so, drop us a line.

You people are too young for me. Going out at 10pm was sooooo 1995. And besides, now that my drug dealer has been arrested and is unavailable, I won’t have the, umm, incentive to stay up late.

I’ll be there, or maybe not (still not sure about blowing my cover, so I’ll probably attend and then ask everyone on here how it was as if I didn’t, or miss it and then blog about what a sausage-fest it was). It’ll be interesting to see if the dynamic duo show; Lilith will be a dead give-away with the gladiatorial eye candy on her arm, and Thor will just wander around with that recently-broken-up glassy eyed despondency, so they should be easy to spot at least.
With pink ponies as our Picture, I sure do hope that we attract the opposite of a sausage fest.

Man o man, its the middle of the night and Im a little on the post gig spun tip, but dig… I would love to play the party but seriously… I got moms coming in that night from cali, and she hasn’t been around for ages. Plus I pay the night before and the night after… but all of that is neither here nor there… I pretty sure most of you all wouldn’t dig the stuff I play. I have personally driven out of escafé… oy, two of four, nay nay plus guest, tim, plus probably a few I haven’t met yet with my electronic shenanigans… Anyway. I really dont know which end is up anymore.
Basically, I would really hate to dissappoint. You all are much hipper than me musically. You need someone with more immediate flexibility.
As a side note, whichever lady villain came up to me before I started my set tonight and paid me an unexpected compliment… damn, you totally made my night. Truly. That was very nice. I was speechless for hours. Still am. My gratitude.

I too am antiquated but I will endeavor to attend. Do they serve “crank”? I don’t know what crank is mind you, but my grandchildren swear by it. They work two jobs, attend school, and keep a very active social life. I ask them, “Boys, when do you sleep? You’ve got slow down before you collapse.” And they always tell me, “Shut it, granpa! All we need is money for more crank. Now give us your wallet!†They’re so full of life those two, so … energetic.

As a matter of fact even earlier wouldn’t be a problem but that would depend on the numbers of people showing up and would probably make it difficult to have a dj since we may have people still having diner.

Oh please oh please 9:30… figure no one wants to be the first one there so everyone wasn’t going to show up until a half hour later anyway, which brings you right back to 10. Plus a little being able to hear each other speak might be good as we let the alcohol kick in just in time for me to sneak away when the DJ starts (sorry folks, I make Elaine look like she should be a rockette and I’ve successfully avoided anything you could describe as dance music since my freshman year of college).
(and this is coming from a twenty-something, so it ain’t just the old who value a good night’s sleep, it’s also the lame)
