It actually appears that this is an issue with the parent company. media general. As their site is also not responding.

Funny, it works fine for me, right down to the annoying pop-up ad I can’t seem to block.

MC - The way the thread reads you are saying that the soft-core photo (above) arouses you just fine and there is no need for Stanley’s more explicit shot. Am I understanding you correctly?

    Threadjack!
Went to Siips and Crush last night. Siips was friendly and pretty, but expensive. Maybe one wine by the glass under $9. I predict a short life.
Crush was great. Super nice owner. Interesting, fairly-priced wines. I think they’ll do well there.

I talked to one of the Crush guys, and he said they can’t charge for tastings. Freefreefree. He hadn’t decided on Thursday, Friday or Saturday yet (back before xmas). Whole place smells like cedar, by the way. They chose the wood racks for that effect.

Market Street has a ton more personality yet, and good deals on good stuff. And the cheap wine there is always decent.

Sure. Like most people in Charlottesville who drink wine, I have a favorite shop–(Market St. Uptown, FYI)–and a new playa isn’t going to make me abandon the tried and true. But it’s a convenient spot for me and the prices seemed fair, so I can see spending a few dollars at Crush in the future.

The guy in Crush (Greg) is a dude and flirted outrageously with me so points all round. It needs some bar stools around the counter to hang out and chat with him.

Ummm.. those monkeys don’t seem to be fornicating, one looks to be doing dental work on the other… but then its late and I’ve been drinking… I stopped by Littlejohn’s on my way home and they were closed (WTF) I’m going to go back and put that in bold… soooo more important than the daily progress website being down for 30 seconds. there. I put it in bold
