Who cares about flowers?

I want to know what “climate change” does to WINE. Are we going to get super-wines that make us join cults? Can we drink the Kool-Aid™ please?

I saw a news report this summer that said it was a great year for grapes. Apparently, they do well in drought situations cause they get more sun and thier roots go down almost 40′ deep to get thier water supply.

The drought of 2002 produced some great Virginia wines in a number of varietals. Since conditions were so similar this past summer I would suggest some of the award winners of 2002 as a starting point to tracking down some of the soon-to-be-greats of 2007. But then I’m the douche-bag who had the nerve to order a beer at Siips, so what do I know?
40′ doesn’t sound all that unreasonable to me.
