PoPo seen hauling @ss

I was just driving south on 29 coming toward town (for a reason I can only describe as “trust me, worth it”) and I saw about six cop cars with full sirens going north. If you’re wondering why I didn’t go check out the scene, I think answering “Big Gulp” will suffice.

Not to begrudge you your fun, but all this omnipresent faux sapphic e-tonguing is like garlic salt in the wounds in my heart. Maybe I just don’t understand the joke.

Enjoy yourselves, I just have nothing to add.

Guess Ill go off and “review the week”.

Garlic salt, wow, I am totally in the mood for fries right now. Or maybe it’s the sexual tension. I’m hungry again, is that awkward?

ThatGrrl, as much as I relish mental-blanking on a restaurant name and having you wait 13 minutes for me to think of it, I’ll end the suspense. It’s PS7 and their menu is nothing like I remember it! Even their website is, like, Lego-inspired. It would be a shame if it wasn’t able to sustain crowds with the small dishes / tastings. Anyway, thanks for the inspiration!

Awesome! Thanks for the link, Lilith! Yum. That place looks really, really great. Goes on my DC list, immediately. I’ll email you the links I mentioned at C&O, ’cause I don’t think everyone else cares a lot about the molecular gastronomy movement in Spain. But the DC molecular gastronomy restaurant might be of interest to others. It’s Minibar. Website: http://www.cafeatlantico.com/miniBar/miniBar.htm

Much thanks for Saturday evening, all. It was a blast and I’m so glad I could loss my OXO late night virginity with the likes of you. I just hope our C&O waitress doesn’t refuse to serve us next time.

Speaking of the poll, somehow it’s acting as if I’ve already voted which I clearly have not, as you super-villains know where I stand on the issue (somebody’s got to be the site prude). Oh well, it makes karmic sense given the topic.

Although back on topic in terms of PoPo, dear old Starr Hill is experiencing a minor crime wave. We had several cars rifled through over the weekend, one which involved a brick through the window as it was locked. Note to cville police - if you just drive by and don’t actually get out of your cruiser, you probably won’t see the guys hiding against/passed out on the hill by the Jefferson School.
