If people want to vote in our February 12th primary, they must register by the end of the day TODAY (monday, 1/14). I’m about to go do it now. It all might be over by then, but then again, it might not.

You are a good citizen Ethan
One interesting twist is that any 17 year olds who will be 18 in time to vote in the Presidential election in November may register and vote in next month’s primary. So, if you know any youngsters who fall into that category, get ‘em to go down to register today!
Oh good, I’m eligible after all!
Could Virginia voters actually make a difference this year?
C-VILLE’s Odd Dominion column has an opinion on this one.
Laffo. I didn’t write that.
So as long as we are already registered voters no additional steps are necessary to vote in the primaries correct? Also, anyone know if VA is an open or closed primary?
i asked that today and i was told that since you dont register with a party, you just show up on primary day and pick which machine you want to vote on: democratic or republican. no need for already-registered people to do anything special to vote in the primary. any first-time VA voters from out of state, though, should get a VA drivers license before the big day.
