French, international film series at U.Va.

La Maison Francaise at U.Va. is sponsoring a Francophone Film Festival, February 14-17. Films will be screened in the auditorium in Wilson Hall for $3, with the final screening in Newcomb Hall. View the schedule.

The Curry School of Education will show nine films on Thursdays, starting this week, in a Globalization and Education Film Series. Films will be screened in the auditorium in Ruffner Hall and are not screened every consecutive Thursday. The countries of origin of the films range from Jamaica to Cameroon.     I’m assuming based on the titles that these films are in French. Do you happen to know if there will be subtitles? I speak about 6 words of French.
