Bowl of Super LII><8411z begins tomorrow at 6:18 PM. Booya. When giant men wearing spandex grab each other in odd places, we love it.

The Super Bowl represents the culmination of American sports, commercialism and good old fashioned brotherhood. You can be a lover of the commercials or a lover of the game, but the bottom-line is that the superbowl is for gay lovers (and by gay we mean platonically happy).


The deeper secrets need to come out right now. I am of the post-modern superbowl watchers. I often greet my friends after kickoff with white sangria and lollipop appetizers. I talk during the game and tell everyone to shutup so I can meticulously analyze every commercial, its brand appeal, and overall, how hot the chickas are…..mmmmmmmm….Go Daddy’s Commercials Anyone?

I digress…devolve to supidity

Now the real problem with Super Bowl commercials is that they are so masculine and thus not fair for the ladies. I wonder about my lady friends, and, quite frankly, worry about their enjoyment of the whole thing. If you are a lady, please stand up and voice your opinion. Do feel unwanted with all the beer, hot chicks and lack of tampon commercials (joking on that last one)?

What do you do for superbowl that is out of the ordinary besides write weird posts?

    Look at the ads this year, if they’re anything like the BCS football ads in December, they will no longer exclude the ladies. The typical all guy scenarios are adjusted with one or two female characters and some corresponding attitude adjustment. Thas whut I saw broh.

    Here’s why the commercials won’t suck as much. We are getting a new “Iron Man” trailer. That movie will be perfect, and this trailer is going to reflect that. I’m anticipating it almost as much as the game.

    I only watch the super bowl with one eye at a time. Commercials with the left, game with right. I find an intentional lack of depth perception enhances the overall experience, plus the patch makes me look like a super cool pirate.

    I understand this is not that unusual, but I thats my thing.

    I did not feel anything was unfair yesterday (except me now owing someone dinner). I love football, I love beer, and more importantly, I hate commercials that are meant for women and are just naked women. I mean how is a half naked Victoria Secret model going to get me to want to run out and purchase a bra?!
    Mansman…the Super Bowl is for anyone that appreciates good sports and amazing alcohol (beer).
