If you’ve been living under a rock for the last day or so you may have missed our new “Charlottesville Social Search” widget on the right sidebar.

What is this!?

Don’t freak out. Welcome to the internet. Swickis learn from your search results and rankings to help you find what find what you want. If we all start collaborating and using the swicki to search for Charlottesville things, we can build a more intelligent, local search engine. It’s free and if you don’t like ours, you can build your own.


Share the SWICKI!

So, you can put the swicki on your homepage, blog or whatever. Go to the share section and find out what you can do. Test it out and if it sucks, you don’t have to use it. Go to the main page and look at the right sidebar. You can email it, add it to your search options in your browser and even comment on search topics.
