Small talk in the office is invariably about the weather. (And sometimes Britney Spears or traffic.) Small talk at a night club is invariably about the DJ. Everyone’s experiencing the same thing, and everyone has an opinion about it.

With DJs, though, the opinions rarely match up.

DJ Payne ran the playlist both Friday and Saturday night at OXO. He is a friend of mine, which means I’m completely biased. As such, you can imagine how happy I was when each friend I talked to gave their unsolicited opinion that the DJ was playing awesome music. Shameless plug? Yeah. What are you gonna do about it?
