Charlottesville community scholarship program will host a dinner at Shebeen on Tuesday, February 26th to help raise funds for future scholarship grants.
STL Working Mom challenges pretty much all the local bloggers to show up in full force. I did hear that Shebeen serves beer. cVillains should attend.
STLWM explains:
If you’re not in the mood for The Shebeen and don’t care about meeting me or other bloggers, head out to one of the other four participating restaurants Tuesday night. You can choose from C & O, Fellini’s #9, Zinc and ZydeCo. All five restaurants will be contributing a percentage of the night’s take to the Program.

Moms have great taste in restaurants!
Thanks for the plug! I am, indeed, hoping to see full participation from the C’ville bloggers. The food at Shebeen is great and yes they do serve beer!
Sorry. I would go, but thats my birthday and I must contemplate the existential dilemma in the greyhound station with cheap gin.
I am so going to this! What a great cause! (Oh and beer..I’m sold) I had to work my little tail off to pay for college (and still am) there is nothing I would be happier to throw my hard earned money at (no sarcasm intended). I really think you all should go. Besides, when it is done we can all throw our opinion of Shebeen on the site
