I didn’t.
But Mark Nizer is a Charlottesville native according to a recent writeup discussing his professional juggling performance in Martinsville, Virginia. The writeup explains:
Nizer, of Charlottesville, has been juggling for 30 years. One of his performances was to the sequestered jury at the O.J. Simpson trial in 1994. “I’m expecting a second booking in Las Vegas,” he joked.
Anyway, I thought that’s pretty cool. Does anyone know anything else about this guy? Why hasn’t he done a show in Charlottesville, or am I just living under a rock?
Here is a video of him in action.

He’s the guy that used to ride the uni, juggle the saws, throw the knives, etc., on the Mall. He has a good story about accidentally dating a Playboy centerfold, by the way.
Are they from the same family?
Dunno, Nizer seems to be from Beantown.
Mark did a show last April (or around then) at the Paramount and is so talented.
He often practices on the bball court of the Albemarle Square ACAC

Putting the “jugg” in juggler, as it were.
(No, no, it’s fine; I’ll see myself out.)
He is the orignator of the Air Raid Juggling Club: http://juggler.bz/
I think they meet once a week at the library, or something like that. C’ville has a pretty decent juggling scene.
I saw Nizer at the Paramount a couple of years ago. He’s mighty good.
Juggling scene!?!?
i used to live next door to a professional juggler. he ate fire & one time burned his face. he juggled fire near the house & it scared us because it was a wood house surrounded by a lot of trees. he also walked on stilts. he shaved his legs & tried to get us to read playboy with him.
Now Orchid. I know this is hard. Show me, on the doll, where the juggler touched you.
@9 Did he try to shave your legs??? If so, I think you have the makings of a great Lifetime Channel movie of the week.
it’s ok, i don’t think he liked girls. however, when he babysat the dog, it walked a little funny afterwards…
It’s “Mark” not Mike, and his Paramount show was fantastic. However, to simply call him a juggler is to do an injustice to his showmanship. He is juggler, magician, comedian and performance artist. Check him out if you get a chance!
Chuck - Fixed. Thanks for the heads up. I did call him “professional.”
