Apparently, there was a shooting outside of Terry Dean’s Dance Studio at 1:30AM, early Sunday morning.
Honestly, why a dance studio? Has anyone been there before?

My google-fu suggests that’s right around the Food Lion/Toys ‘R’ Us/Waffle House corridor, between Hydraulic and Rio on 29. I had no idea there was a dance studio there.
I believe it is behind Flaming Wok.
I blame the rash of street dancing movies that we’ve seen lately (like Stompin the Yard). They really glorify the gangsta-dancer lifestyle in a way that I feel is bad for society.

I heard the studio was rented out for a private party, but i still like the idea that it was a dance off that got way heated, and then shooting ensued! This is what happens when you skimp on the velvet ropes.
