I know Thor pressed the ejector button a long time ago, but we’re trying something a little different tonight (Thursday) that even HE might like! We too miss the days of cocktail specials and actual conversations between bartender and customer, so we’re starting up Thursdays and anticipating a lighter, less fist-fighty crowd. We will have dancey-pants DJ Payne (AKA LL Cool E) beginning at 10 and our drink special is a Honeycomb–muddled ginger, honey, rum, and lemon juice, garnished with crystallized ginger. Six bucks. We ought to have something else with coconut milk but our crack team of scientists is still testing it in the lab.

okay, last time I went to oxo’s myspace they were playing the Of Montreal cover of M.I.A.’s Jimmy. Now it’s an Architecture in Helsinki remix of Yacht. I have never heard anything close to this style of music actually playing at oxo. what gives?

So, forgive my ignorance, but how can there be seven dj’s? Is this like an all night affair? Do they each only play for 20 minutes? Do they play simultaneously, ala hard sell? have only split the bill once or twice and only played for an hour each time. But seven dj’s? Please enlighten me. Serious question.
