Soft Opening at The Local tonight?

Our informative little birdie sends in some more juice.

We heard The Local is doing a soft opening tonight.

Can anyone confirm?  Let us know if you go by!

    Well I went tonight, not knowing that a “soft opening” is an invite only affair (thanks, foodies, for letting me know this). So while I was not able to eat, one of my favorite bartenders was working the bar and I did manage a couple of drinks, and a brief tour from the owner (super nice guy). It is amazing inside! Absolutely beautiful upstairs and down. And when they finally finish the upstairs backside deck, that will surely be a favorite hideaway come warmer weather. The food was whizzing by left and right and it certainly looked good, but you know me, I will eat pound cake & green beans, so what do I know… I will definitely be back once they are officially open.

    All that looking at food got me all hungry, so I decided to bust down to the box, which was also awesome, but you guys have covered its noodly goodness into the ground so its old news (good to see you there thatgrrl & guy!).
