Just had a dark chocolate cookie with caramel and sea salt there and think it is now the front runner for best cookie in Cville (I was totally with you on the spice cookie from Feast until this one.)

My husband and I went to Charlottesville for a little weekend getaway and came across this amazing little bakery. We wanted to try one of everything since we were only there for the weekend. The cupcakes and cookies are both fantastic. I thought there prices were very reasonable too. I wish it were closer to where we live!!! The owners are so friendly and you can tell that they really love what they do. Hope to visit again soon.

I totally agree with “where is the real cupcakery.” I most of bought the same batch because I thought all the cupcakes taste the same too. I could of sworn I had cupcakes at Food Lion that were way better. Technically, it’s not a cupcakery upon seeing that it sales cookies and cakes as well. Maybe that was what “where is the real cupcakery” was trying to point out. Now, I’m a huge foodie and baker so I believe in quality ingredients as well. The red velvet was heavy, the lemon taste like vanilla, and the chocolate taste like it was baked with Hershey’s chocolate chips. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I have spoken mine. I will try them again maybe mine were sitting for a while. I dont want to offend anyone but thats the way I see.

Perhaps you are missing the preservatives and your palate is not use to quality ingrediants. GO TO FOOD LION AND ENJOY YOURSELF.
