Movies in the Park

You can catch a movie in the park this Saturday (and more) at 5:30 p.m. in Washington Park. Take a blanket and sweetheart and curl up for a relaxed evening in the park.

Evan Almighty will be playing (and since we are lucky enough to still have the ark to play on – this movie is the perfect movie to watch here!) this Saturday. The event is free and brought to you by our lovely parks and recs department.

There are future showings of movies scheduled. Check out the parks and rec site to find out more. (Their site has been down the last few days, but maybe it will magically start working now that I posted this).

@3: Just called. They said it is up in the air at the moment. Looks doubtful, but they have not ruled it out entirely. They do it in conjunction with sneak reviews, and they don’t currently have anything planned.

Yeah, that’s gonna suck. They should really use a screen.
