64 Shooter Sentence Suspended

The teenage boy who plead guilty for the I-64 shooting will spend 180 days in a juvenile center.  Brandon Dawson will be sent to the Blue Ridge Detention Center, have a supervised release and have to pay $12,500 in restitution.

Not too painful, eh?

    Tough call. Try as adult and he goes away for many years and life is pretty much over, dictated by the poor judgement and impulse control so oft witnessed in adolescence. So, have him assessed by experts to see where he is and what growing he has to do and treat from there…
