washington DC is a great area to access the outdoor… parking lots?
this reads more like a list of towns whose tourism bureaus have voluptuous marketing budgets.
Are we green? Ethan’s gonna be PISSED!
Well if you count that long strip of beautiful grass and dirt known as the mall I can see where DC comes into play on the list. Or maybe wading in the putrid waters of the Potomac? Maybe they’re including surround “suburbs” and rural areas near DC. An odd one in the bunch for sure.
voluptuous marketing budgets
mmmm, baby, look at the curves on that annual report. daaamn.
@1.. hmmmm….. welcome to marketing?
oh snap, my bad! i thought it was journalism. my bad!
Wait just a damn minute. “# of Hybrids per Capita” = 0.832? That means that there are 82 hybrid cars per person in town? Doubt it. Maybe it means 82 in 100 cars? Nope, cause that would mean that Portland had 187 hybrids for each car. That means that 87 our 100 hybrids drive hybrids. Them’s some real nice stats.
Sorry, just read the article that 82 in 1000 households. Makes way more sense. Still, though.. Nice stats.
hey gobbler, remedial math is down the hall. this is marketing.
Oh hi parls… didn’t see you there. Marketing you say? I thought this was Blogging for Dummies.
Can somone change the Heading under the picture of the totally awesome red muscle car so that it reads:
(# of Hybrids per 1000 people) Per Thousand Capita just doesn’t have that ring to it.
I are no longer confuz
Y HALO THAR SNARKY MCSNARKYSNARK
Washington DC? LOL!
WTF
DC has Shen Natl Pk and the Chesp Bay. Philly, NYC, Boston, Chicago do not.
DC is the California of the Northeast.
14: DC is the California of the Northeast.
and I thought I’d heard everything…
@14 Shen has her own park?
/scared of the rangers in that one…
She only gets one drink while inside the park. Check her bracelet.
@14 Shen has her own park?
Yes. With a redwood forest of sorts. Hence, California.
Hence, Californication.
i love californication.
They’re talking about the DC-area MSA, which is something Jim Duncan can explain. But the reason there are so many hybrids up there is that people driving them can use the HOV lanes on I-95 and I-66 without having to actually carpool. Many people bought them just for shortening their commuting time, even when gas was cheap.
