Pictures from the Escafe Party

Thanks to everyone who made it out. Special thanks to Tuesday for planning everything! Extra special thanks to everyone at Escafe and big kudos for giving everyone a $10 dollar gift certificate who showed up!

I have all the pictures after the break, but Escafe wanted to ask you guys “what does it take to turn their place into a dancing joint?!

DJ. Fog machine. Lighting (disco ball and a couple little gadget lights).

And maybe just maybe an in house PA or upgraded stereo, but that would just be a bonus.

Add to that, liquor sponsors, theme nights, and specials. Advertising helps too.

Its not rocket science, and I have been saying it for years.

Um, don’t let stupid people sit at the designated dancing table and play better music.

A Fog machine, B’Yo DJ’ing and first class advertising will really push Escafe in the right direction. The party was awesome because cvillains’ like to Boogie… and drink.

/The addition of a Disco Ball and excellent sound system usually gives me the courage to dance!

I don’t mean for my comment to sound bratty. I just love those things, and covet them.

And yes, table eleven is the elevated platform of choice…

Aw, seeing pictures makes me miss everybody (mc, shen, doof, oy - okay, so I didn’t make it though all the pictures but silmo, 2o4 and b’yo I miss you, too). Sorry for being so abundantly lame. I’m glad everyone had fun. Thanks for the pics, Kyle!

I knew I knew several or more people on this site and didn’t know what their posting names were. And is that really belmont yo with the nametag that says so? Hot! Wow, I never would have put those clever posts together with a good looking guy. The good looking ones rarely have such a (seemingly) good personality.

Looks like a nice party and besides b’yo, you all are good looking!

Note to self: plastic surgery, exercise, hair color, mani/pedi, shopping excursion and more before going to a cvillain party.

It stands for “bring your own umbrage, and let your umbrage rain down and cleanse your soul”. I agree. It is confusing.

Thanks for the kind, and suggestive words, box, but in truth I paid kyle $50 to photoshop the psoraisis map of eurasia off my forehead. It is the internets, after all… where the men are men, the women are men, and the kids are cops.

    Wheres the nexxxt shin digg

Its CDC at Applebee’s, Pantops on wednesday. The escafé thing will just be some xenophobe with an oversized boom box. Best to hang with the “normal folks”. They are way more fun… ahem.

@26 orchid may be able to report on some delicious Bánh mì, which I understand is readily available and good in her current burg.

@27: We used to have an awesome Bánh mì in Raleigh, but then the restaurant got new management, and that was the only thing they took off the menu. Bastards! I’ll never go back!
