Major Gas Leak in Charlottesville?

We were coming back from lunch and there was a big stench of leaked gas.  Someone must have called the police.  Now there are a bunch of firetrucks and official looking people blocking the Ridge/250 W intersection. Anyone have more deets?  Can the TV station get out here!?

    Maybe if you gave them better directions. Ridge doesn’t intersect 250. does it?

    Try Ridge/ McIntire. It intersects 250 by the skate park.

    I’ve always heard it’s because it was Route 10, abbreviated R10, which, to the gringo monoglot eye, looks like RYE-oh.
