In other venue news, I heard tell that The Spot/Joint/BRGR/WhateverIt’sCalled is opening within the month. Anyone got confirmation on that rumor?

    Stanley,

Opening the 25th. I believe the final name is Boylin Nights or something along those lines. Place is gonna be spiffy, and I’ll be one of your friendly tenders of bar.

    Update on Si Tapas:
I went in there yesterday for an interview and the place isn’t close to being finished, but it has great potential and i know the one in Richmond has a great reputation. The owner told me it should open in about a month, but we’ll see about that. Looking forward to what it has to offer! And maybe I’ll be you’re new flirtress there ;)

Absolutely, especially if if they were boiling in hot oil that we - as patrons - would be encouraged to drop on them from on high.

Can’t attest to the reason for the name. I may be a letter or two off, but that’s the name I saw posted on the door when I was there Wednesday. Bad name or not, the place looks fantastic inside. Definitely cleaning things up from the Orbit days.
