
Algae is quickly becoming the crowd favorite for Princess of the Alternative Energy ball.
While many companies around the world are hard at work on this technology, UVa is trying to prove the feasibility of mass production and its positive (hopefully) effects on the environment.

So, environmentalists, which is it going to be? More CO2 or less CO2? Make up your freakin’ minds, already.
Which environmentalists are calling for more CO2?! That one’s new to me. If we can manage to sequester CO2, and produce fuel at the same time, well, that’d be prooty cool. But the feasibility of this kind of effort will likely be quickly and strongly hampered by cost and space.
i thought folks at mit were working on yeast fuel.
