Do you have a link? I went to the magazine’s website and I can’t find any mention of it.
darkstar, it was a news wire, so I assume it hasn’t hit their website yet and is only in the print edition.
Charlottesville is totally the s**t. Even retirees of the African-American entreprenurial persuasion think so!
Hoping the trend will lead to better public transportation? Maybe real streetcars?
I missed the Train thread–did anyone say they were returning regular day-excursion trains (come-go) to Staunton, Roanoke, etc., or do i still have to get my chinos all sooty and my wingtips scuffed by jumping freight-cars?
If this list is any indication, I doubt it. Of the cities on that list I’ve been to (1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15), not one has significantly better public transportation than Charlottesville, and many have it worse.
