How to Make the Best Burger Ever

As a followup to duckduckgoose’s post about the White Spot earning its stripes in MSN’s recent America’s Best Burgers article, I thought I would share a couple videos from Heston Blumenthal’s show, In Search of Perfection.  This episode is about the perfect burger.  For those of you who have never heard of Heston Blumenthal, he is the chef/owner of the Fat Duck (three star Michelin restaurant a couple years in a row…), arguably one of the best restaurants in the world.  He takes his love for molecular gastronomy to new levels, and shows you why food tastes the way it does.  If anyone can replicate this recipe, please host a party and invite us all….this burger looks freaking good:

this is GREAT!!! looks really tasty… i grind my own burgers about 80% of the time, using chuck and short rib and it always tastes so delish.

Burger care = burger price… as a chef or restauranteur, people REALLY have to trust and enjoy the food you create to pay 12 or 15 bucks for a burger….

    /truffle fries anyone?

Maybe I’ll make myself a Double Bacon Hamburger Fatty Melt next time I wake up with a deadly hangover (Thursday, most likely)

Not decadent enough. Throw in some ham and then wrap it in puff pastry and deep fry it. When your heart explodes, take that and grill it with some onions then top with more bread and cheese. Perfection.
