Charlottesville Murder Suspect Voluntarily Turns Himself In

 Darryl Andre Johnson Charlottesville

We learned from our commenters about a shooting that happened over the weekend. We didn’t know details until Chalottesville put out the official release which explained that one person had been shot and killed and three injured on Saturday at midnight outside of Pacino’s Deli on the Corner.  Today, we learn that Darryl Andre Johnson (pictured above), who had previously been a fugitive, has voluntarily turned himself into police.

they also posted his social security number in the wanted poster which to me sounds like cruel and unusual punishment for someone who isn’t convicted. even if he is guilty, putting his identity out there to get stolen is pretty lame. maybe we should take down the word doc?

Why would you steal the identity of an alleged murderer? FAIL.

then again, for example, Senator Ted Kennedy killed that girl in Chappaquiddick, and he led a pretty cushy life. That’s not a bad alleged-murderer identity to take.

It’d suck to be fat, drunk and stupid (from Animal House: “Blutarski, fat drunk and stupid is no way to go through life”)… but hey—there’s the beachhouse in florida and the compound on cape-cod.

Hey, by @4, maybe they could run this guy against Virgil Goode with positive results. If murder gets you life-in-the-bighouse versus life-in-the-Senate, where’s the choice?
