Are you having problems with AT&T again? You remember our multi-day outage from a few months ago?

It appears problems have hit the region again as of 4:45PM Today. Are you having problems?

    Yup, mine started a little over an hour ago. I just had 1 bar a second ago right before reading this, then it went out again.

    I just got off the phone with AT&T and they are aware of the situation and the network should be back on in two hours. Plus they gave me 120 minutes of service. So if your in need of free minutes that you randomly might not be able to use it could be worth a complaint call.

    Around 4ish, I lost signal. Kept bouncing between SOS, one bar, and “searching for network…” I was out having a couple drinks and a few people with ATT said the same thing. Around 5:30ish I shut off my phone, took out the battery, then put it back in and it did its little security update which got my signal back. I’ve never had a problem with service until ATT bought out my original carrier. Technology is not infallible and more often than not creates more problems than it solves. And @8 is right…better watch out for the man.

    To be fair, Verizon Wireless had a bad outage a few weeks ago where no VZ phones in the Valley could call any numbers in Charlottesville (regardless of the carrier here) for a day or so.

    AT&T sucks and u have to have the internet on your phone to get pictures from other cell phone users. MY ADVICE IS DO NOT GET AT&T AND IF YOU HAVE IT SWITCH TO A DIFFERENT COMPANY
