WCAV reports the Hope Community Center is holding a clothing and toy drive for local families in need. This is a great opportunity to clean out your closet/attic and/or your children’s playroom. I think we all need to feel little hope the way things are ending this year, so lets help out!
Organizers are looking to collect warm clothing like sweaters, jackets, and pants for all ages from infant to adult. Joshua Bare says, “Lots of people need a chance and they need that hope and so us distributing clothing is giving hope a chance, it’s giving hope a hand. It’s rebuilding confidence in their life”.

Hey, since I’m an adult now and married and all that stuff, I want to get a Christmas tree. I want to go and pick one out and cut it myself. Where would one do this here? My hero growing up was a former NY Yankee and Boston Red Sox player named Jackie Jensen and he used to have a farm in Fork Union that I’m pretty sure that you could do this. He was a great guy and I remember that I was 14 years old and was sitting in his office at his baseball camp talking baseball and later that day he died and the camp was cancelled. Traumatic for a 14 year old.
