This has been a hilarious clash of the Titans—two intellectual primitives and ersatz fiscal sophisticates, toothy monomaniacal deal-doing Tantrumus Rexes, braying at each other across the primieval swamp of local print media, crowing about their wealth and bidness acumen. What jolly fun. Everyone remembers laughingly Danielson’s petulant departure from Cville years ago when the city shut down some silly project or another he had for tearing down old buildings, and we’ve come to know, love and chuckle at HM’s loud and legal hissy-fits here and abroad over trivialities.
How lovely to watch these financial giants rockem-sockem-robot each other out of each other’s cash and what limited public esteem can be afforded self-significant vainglorious bazillionaire vacuots. Best show in town!!!

future of the downtown mall hangs in the balance, sweetie.
if that construction remains a non-progressing sump, history as shown businesses on that side-street will suffer like hell and maybe fold, especially in these stern economic times. remeber the hit the swanky frenchy place took when the paramount dug up that sidestreet for a year. also, if HM succeeds in building this damn monstrosity, it will bring a bunch of rich fucks to blow cash at downtown restaurants and our craft boutiques down there.
if HM is as FAIL as the papers say he is, the loss of Danielson is a big-deal—as much of a temper as he has, he managed quickly and successfully to build Ice-Park and Regal, two massive projects… without any of the setbacks HM is experiencing evidently by his own making.

I will say this. When Danielson lost his stake in the Ice Park in Charlottesville, he took over the one in Fredericksburg. He stopped paying the bills, and split to California. A lot of money “Magically” disappeared from the FIP. I’m not saying he stole it, but it’s definitely true it disappeared.
