A friend is watching a fancy-schmancy 10-man film crew working on the downtown mall. My coworkers and I are providing commentary from our perch 3 stories above and wondering what the movie is about and why, oh why, would they be filming on the downtown mall in the middle of the noisy & messy construction? Any one have a clue?

I hear its a Teen Wolf remake…. or the Dave Matthews pornographic-bio-pic
There is the entire DMB bus army park at the Omni so perhaps that means something
I am making the movie and it’s about the life and times of Halsey Minor as told by Dennis Rooker’s hair.
it’s my polish class. we’re making a documentary about the downtown mall as a class project.
/seriously, but i don’t really know who those guys are
ya maybe it’s part of a concert recording? maybe if I see them I will ask them what they are shooting?????
They’re filming in front of Rapture, and the clacker says “Our Man”.
nothing by that name on IMDB
Political ad?
someone said this movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1378648/
Heard from someone that DMB is filming a new music video in town…
Three films i know of, not sure if one of them or yet another:
big indie slasher film with zombies (maybe wrapped already) with SUPPORT OF PCA
small indie comic-slasher film about Cville restaurant-workers, Paul Whitehead with SUPPORT OF PCA
is probably: feature-length film about ???, by Boyd of DMB with SUPPORT OF PCA
I was in it… as one of the opium den whores in a scene… its not a slasher. Its more a artsty movie. The whole movie takes place in 24 hours. Boyd Tinsley from Dave Mathews band is doing the music for it. They did a lot of the filming at his farm off 20
any more word about the Paul Whitehead film shooting around Escafe and downtown?
that is/was a parody slasher feature about cville restaurant workers and should be awesome and super-local and perhaps humourously bitter.
in my comment above i think i may have suggested that PCA, whom he approached, was any fucking help at all. i have it later from sources NOT connected to PCA nor to Paul Whitehead that PCA was NOT any fucking help at all.
but why WOULD they be—it’s just art being made in charlottesville.
