Nice idea, even with the rebate that rain barrel is over $130 (it is nicer then cheaper DIY version). But I do like the idea of picking up a composter at the free class, do they all smell of patchouli oil?

Of course they do…. it’s now built into Birkenstocks. One less thing to forget when you head out the door to take an LGBT eco-mime and African drum combo-class.

If you’re in the CVSSC and have your discount card, you can get an additional 10% off there, so that makes it a bit more affordable.

A rain diverter and UV connecting materials are good to keep out the algae, bugs, and debris.

I just bought a rain barrel from the Eco Shop. It’s pretty sweet and doesn’t need a diverter (it comes with everything). So that saves you anouther $35 bucks if you build your own.
