A follow up to the gossip tidbit from earlier today, it does appear that something is brewing in the old Sage Moon space, which has been up for rent since the gallery moved it’s art space to join with Siips.
The signs still show spaces available, however, they have very recently blocked off the windows with the now prevalent paper coverings.
We have a call in to some of our contacts with the possible owners, to try and gain some clarification. The Charlottesville Board of Architectural Review shows an April 21st meeting notes that the space received an approval for a new fence and other patio changes.
The building actually has a side entryway directly off of 5th street, down the same hallway as Antics.

Thanks to our anonymous tipster on this one, and stay tuned as we gather more information.

As a denizen of the downtown area, I vote “yes”. More food equals a fat and happy Philbert.
You are such a nut.
Thanks for noticing! I feel more cashew-y than anything.
