Jello Wrestling @ Outback Lodge? Who Knew…

The Outback Lodge threw a surprise Jello wrestling event last evening, which we managed to get a taste of.  Only 4 combatants took to the slippery mat, and the event ended in a draw, splitting the $100 cash prize.  And all of this on a Wednesday…

Unfortunately, it appears that they have recently had their liquor license suspended, as only beer & frosty malt beverages were on hand.

    ummmm…should i really have to point out the fact that jello wrestling is not newsworthy (and certainly not photoworthy) when the combatants are fat, ugly, bald, or any combination of the prior?

    I *almost* went to this with a couple drunk friends. And I am so glad I didn’t. I didn’t know it was in the BASEMENT of the Outback. Also – if you have your liquor license suspended doesn’t that mean you can’t sell ANY alcohol? Beer included? Is that why it was in the basement – to try to avoid attracting attention?
