Joshua & the rest of the Blue Light Grill crew put on a really amazing display last Thursday for our fifth Club Villain event. From the new paint scheme, to the big screen TV’s, BLG is certainly making moves in the right direction.

these pictures are a thrill a minute
Joshua Tracy?
Hutter actually, new head chef.
Pretty sure one commenter will be returning on “blue light grill”, not us — unless you’re paying them for the gift certificate. I think not.
I purchased this gift certificate personally. So, I should have said: “One commenter below will be returning on ME”.
Well then who wouldn’t want to take your money?
Nice snaps, looks great.
i haven’t seen those new flat screens yet…i’ll have to make it back in soon.
I think the new changes at Blue Light are cool. The color is great, the food was very good and the service was good. It is hard for a restaurant that has been around for a long time to continue to reinvent itself. Although it is vital for continued survial, many owners do not want to risk changing with the times. Blue Light is obviously trying to accomplish this. The new chef is very good. The new look is coming together. I for one would like to say, “Keep up the good work”
I’m not going to lie, I thought the TV’s were a bad idea initially, however I think with the stereo at a reasonable volume, and playing concert recordings it actually makes for a nice backdrop for dinner & drinks.
As far as the food goes, I used to eat at BLG a few times a month, but around a year ago I lost interest in the fare. After sampling the spring rolls & dumplings, I’m really really excited to return.
Is the raw bar still in operation? Didn’t it used to reside behind the second bar area?
And I can’t count how many times I’ve heard people remark that the rose buds should find their way back into the Liquid Loves.
The raw bar better still be in operation…the selection of fresh oysters was half the appeal!
I love a good spring roll though, I’ll have to try those.
They still have the raw bar. And Josh Hutter is the shit.
Well he certainly served me a few plates of it when I ate at the now departed Si
I think Si had a specific menu they had to stick to. Guess you didn’t ever go to the wine tasting where he got to mix it up and everything was delectable. I don’t know if it’s because he used to live in Hawaii, but he has a knack for seafood and BL seems to be the spot to best suit his talents. Taliesin, a total yankee, tried his curried rendition of New England clam chowder and liked it–no easy feat.
I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt just because you like him ok?
So who wins the gift certificate?
I’m going to let this one run for a little longer before letting the randomizer chug through it. Be ready later in the week though!
I’m not falling for it this time.
Pretty please?
Oh okay, that’s cool. Feel free to wait as long as you want…just so long as I win.
And the random gods have smiled upon you. #20 FTW.
success!
I think you should have to attend the event to get the gift certificate. If not, at least you should have to spell something wrong to give Loki something to do.
