RSWA Debacle Draws Angry Mob

Angry_MobThe continuing saga surrounding the ‘illegal’ solid waste dumping by evil mastermind Peter van der Linde is set to spill into the streets, with a protest at the free speech wall tomorrow afternoon.  Bob Fenwick appears to be leading the rabble, stating that the Rivanna Sewer and Water Authority is spending taxpayer money in an attempt to convict Linde for instructing his drivers to dump solid waste without paying the appropriate surcharges, which have amounted to around $1 million.

The prosecution has had a star witness called into question recently, when a jury found Richard Wade Kendrick guilty of attempting extortion against his previous employer, Linde.  Whether or not this will sideline the trial is yet to be determined.

Fenwick is inviting supports to meet tomorrow at 2:00PM, in order to draw speakers for the RWSA meeting on Thursday (12/17).

I got van der Linde’s back, yo. Used his containers for a couple of years when I got here (we called him Mr. Dumpster Man). If I’m downtown tomorrow, I’ll definitely come by.

I also saw the attempted extortion thing earlier this week in the Daily Regress. That guy is mad stupid and the prosecution is as well if they try to use him as a witness.

I think you mean “RSWA meeting.” RWSA and RSWA are 2 different things.

You’re absolutely right Alby Jay…. I’ve just been onto Ebay and bought some slightly used lower expectations. Hopefully that will take care of my ridiculously high standards regarding basic spelling and grade-school grammar.I only paid for standard shipping, so expect a bitchfest until UPS get here a week next Tuesday.

I will treasure my point, and keep it on my mantel beside the mummified shrunken head and a rusty tin of Werther’s Originals.

heh. The title reminds me of this group of kids that were marching around our neighborhood in New Hampshire, wielding wiffle-ball bats and yelling “Angry mob”, like they couldn’t think of anything to protest. Ahh, youth.
