Days of Our Lives Spoilers: EJ’s Genetic Testing Curveball – Dr. Sorenson’s DNA Investigation Brings More Baby Daddy Drama
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will meet with Dr. Sorenson (Lisagaye Tomlinson), who’s an expert when it comes to high-risk pregnancies.
Dr. Sorenson’s job is to do whatever she can to make sure Nicole safely carries this baby to term.
Since Dr. Sorenson is a specialist who has plenty of experience, EJ will trust her completely and will be more than willing to do anything she asks.
When Nicole and EJ visit Dr. Sorenson on July 25, DOOL fans can expect her to make a surprising request.
Days spoilers say Dr. Sorenson will want to do some genetic testing on EJ’s DNA – just as a precaution when it comes to any abnormalities that might happen with the baby.
Of course, EJ assumes the paternity test was legit, so there’s no doubt in his mind that Nicole’s unborn child belongs to him.
What EJ and Nicole don’t realize is that Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) rigged that test by swabbing her own cheek – meaning she used her own DNA for the sample.
It’s easy to see how Dr. Sorenson’s genetic testing might lead to red flags. EJ’s DNA certainly won’t line up with Sloan’s if there’s a situation where two samples get compared.
Dr. Sorenson will indeed ask EJ for another sample so she can run some new genetic-related tests, so Days spoilers say trouble’s brewing.
This will stir up more “baby daddy” drama for fans who are eager to see Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) proven as the father of Nicole’s little one.
Although EJ is technically still a bio dad option, it’s obvious that the baby belongs to Eric based on the way the story’s being told.
Besides, Days spoilers say Eric and Nicole are destined to end up back together sooner or later, so an “Ericole” baby could help make that happen.
As for Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty), she’s also pregnant with Eric’s child, but will she actually give birth? Sloan could easily have a miscarriage, but we’ll see how things play out down the road.
In the meantime, Sloan will get updates on EJ’s DNA being used for genetic testing, so that’ll bring a total freak-out over the news.
