* Surf the site and add your contest items to your Wish List.
* Your contest entry must total less than $2,000 (exclusive of shipping and taxes), so make sure you choose carefully and that you include everything that you’ll need to make your idea a reality.
* Go to your Wish List and click on the contest link. Fill out the entry form and submit your entry.
Just imagine the damage we can do at Foxfield (no s) races next year!

One of our birdies sends in the following question:
I’m turning 21 at the end of the month and I’m looking for the best place to have my first legal drink in c-ville. - I thought this would be a good idea for discussion - i’m eager to hear what the wonderful cvillains think
So, eager Villains, help our noobian out and tell us where you throw the best coming of age party!
So the haze hanging over the Michael’s Bistro kerfuffle seems to be lifting. The latest version I’ve heard (from a chorus of little birdies) is that the main owner canned a few people, precipitating a walk-out en masse by the rest of the staff.
Of course, I serve up this gossip with the caveat that hearsay is inevitably fraught with inconsistency, exaggeration, and falsehoods. Which is why it would be almost unconscionable for me to mention that I’ve also heard tell (those birdies, they sure do chirp) of a new partnership between the main Bistro owner and the chef formerly of Bohème notoriety (that there was a spicy comment section, I tell you what). Oh, and it’s with a low signal-to-noise ratio, but I’m also catching word that the other Bistro owner, who had a falling out with the majority owner, is looking to start his own joint.
Shamelessly idle gossip and rumors, no doubt. Feel free to drop your own restaurant earworms in the comments.
With the immigration debate raging into endless absurdity – one profound question remains – how American are you? Take the test to find out. The questions are from the USCIS website –the same questions foreign nationals need to answer correctly in order to become naturalized citizens. A score lower than 80% results in your deportation – enjoy.
I tried to get this to work within cVillain, but I failed…so click on this LINK to take the test!
We will post answers and results on Wednesday, happy deportation!

First off, we wanted to thank everyone for reading and commenting on our site. It’s gotten pretty exciting to be part of something like this, and while demanding, has been a very rewarding experience. Extra special thanks to anyone who has written an article, helped us plan a party and anything else like that.
We’ve noticed a lot of new faces on the site recently and wanted to give a quick rundown of some site basics.
We have a CODE OF ETHICS. It says some pretty basic stuff like, you can’t reveal identities, you can’t do personal attacks and you can’t post false gossip.
We constantly struggle to keep each post on topic. We started Free For All’s to let everyone flirt and say whatever they wanted. Please, please keep threads on topic, otherwise we are going to start getting mad.
Feel free to comment or write your own post. Frequent commenters.. pay attention to comments from new people and welcome them. Oh, and if someone says something you don’t like, don’t take it personally and be respectful to other people’s opinions. We’ve seen plenty of negativity towards people with differing opinions and that has to stop.
Please support us by clicking on our advertisers banners and visiting their businesses.
Finally, we are always curious how we are doing, so if you want something changed, have some suggestions or anything else, let us know in the comments!
We’ve heard from a reliable birdie that the former Hardware Store location is being converted to an Urban Outfitters. It makes sense given the store’s size and the standard size of U.O. shops.
We think this rumor has some wings and it looks like the cat is finally out of the bag. Thank you birdie! I’m sure mall people are not happy about this.
Update from danpri…possibly not finalized, due to a lack of official inking.
Uncus posted an article yesterday about the things cville is doing to be and not be green. I was surprised to find out they placed the “localvore” trend in the anti-green habits of the city (the cite UVa research…didn’t see that one coming), and that they missed out on the Eco Dry Cleaners habit of distributing glossy stock spam across town. Asides from their bullet points, what else are we and are we not doing green in town?
While enjoying a casual stroll in the outdoor sauna that is Barrack’s Road, I noticed that the transient furniture shop that was filling the old Goody’s space had vacated. In its place: a business called “Spirit Halloween”. Upon perusing their website, it appears that Spirit Halloween is, not surprisingly, a costume shop.
