Virginia State Police have announced the arrest of a second unnamed suspect in the Interstate 64 Shootings.
Slade Woodson, 19 and the unnamed 16 year old face two felony counts of malicious wounding, two counts of using a firearm to commission a felony and four counts of maliciously shooting at an occupied vehicle.
Given that the 16 year old lives in Crozet, it is likely that this student attends Western Albemarle High School. We aren’t interested in naming names for a juvenile, so don’t.

Thanks to Silmo for pointing out there is a world outside of cVillain.
This is the picture of the first suspect, Slade Woodson who is in custody.

Silmo also points out that Slade Woodson has two myspace pages:
http://www.myspace.com/lostbogger
http://www.myspace.com/bakyrdbogn
Slade Woodson’s second myspace is set to private, but the “lostbogger” myspace page has information and pictures you may find interesting.
- He went to Western Albemarle High School from 2003 to 2007
- He likes Ford trucks and confederate flags
Now for the pictures.

“Thats after about a 24 pack.. I was feelin RIGHT. hell yea” was the caption for the next one…

OH Snap. No more late night headbanger parties. WCAV Reports:
All city restaurants will have a new limit of 75 decibels after 11p.m. The reading is for outside the establishment. Restaurants are advised to keep the door closed to keep the sound inside.
The council says that if a police officer takes a reading with the door open then that will be the official reading. Noise on the downtown mall is limited to 75 decibels all day. That includes street performers and restaurants.
Examples of decibel levels from wikipedia:

So, you can’t be louder than a passenger car in a restaurant? This is retarded. Bars have got to be louder than this at night. If you live downtown, you should deal with above average noise levels. I’m pissed. Say goodbye to outdoor shows, late night music, etc.

Charlottesville police are looking for a (you are not going to believe this) black male of average height and build who stole two purses from elderly women yesterday. I’m impressed that someone could actually steal a purse and not get caught. It’s not like Charlottesville offers many places for foot-laden criminals.

Are tasers a big thing for Charlottesville police?
One little birdie, the resident tazing expert, explains that he witnessed law students getting tazed. Awesome?

I was reading through the Hook’s article on Bedford County’s online child porn tracking group until I stumbled up the Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children’s Task Force MySpace web page. WOW.
A myspace page with baby’s looking at porn? YES.. or no?

From Sunday’s Daily Progress:
City considers review panel for police: Wheelchair incident prompts latest call
By Seth Rose
Remember the “wheelchair incident”? Of course you do. These are two excerpts from the article– I’m completely slanting this according to my view, so please do NOT think I’m being objective in the least.
When you have that type of system in place, it raises the credibility of the police department, Councilor Julian Taliaferro said.
I don’t see this as an indication of a lack of trust in the police department, Mayor Dave Norris said. It’s just another layer of review that helps instill community confidence, support and accountability.
Cynical commentary: Well, maybe they’ll review some protocols between the interviews and photo shoots.

The Hook reports that several structurally critical bolts were removed from a major 80ft+ electric tower over a Western Albemarle county neighborhood.
Three nuts were completely removed from one tower and eight nuts were loosened on a another, according to Albemarle detective Phil Giles. Although the two towers were damaged, Giles says they are “not in danger of fallingâ€â€“ that is, unless more nuts are removed.
What do you think? That’s pretty scary stuff if you ask me. Look for it on the evening news with TERRORISM ATTEMPT in the headline.

I was just driving south on 29 coming toward town (for a reason I can only describe as “trust me, worth it”) and I saw about six cop cars with full sirens going north. If you’re wondering why I didn’t go check out the scene, I think answering “Big Gulp” will suffice.
