Happy October! U2 to play Scott Stadium on 10/1/09!

When I heard the rumors about this two weeks ago, I thought, “no way in hell.” But now it appears to be official. U2 will be rocking Scott Stadium this October. I’m sure I’ll have to take out a second mortgage to afford tickets, but there’s no way I’m missing this show.

Nitrous Party Charlottesville

Apparently at the Phil Lesh show, you could get what looked like nitrous oxide balloons smack dab on the streets of Charlottesville.  Now, we didn’t taste these baloons, but we’re pretty sure people don’t huff helium like this.  We aren’t saying they are nitrous balloons, but let your imagination do the work.

By the way, if you don’t know what nitrous is, go ask your local dealer… or, sneak some from your dentist.

If you remember, a while back we had rumors of nitrous baloons being readily available at another spot on the downtown mall.

Local Sportsman Rocks the Outdoor Adventure Show Scene

Kip Campbell

Charlottesville native Kip Campbell, just got his own hunting show called “Red Arrow” syndicated on national television!  Charlottesville, respect.

He and his buddy, Chad Day (not that Chad Day) hunt all over the place but feature Virginia hunting in their 2-man show.  They do everything from bowfishing for stingray to hunting giant hogs.  You can catch them on the Sportsman channel on Mondays at 4:30AM, Thursdays at 5:30PM (prime time baby!!), and Saturday’s at 11AM EST.
