Days of Our Lives characters, as well as, viewers have all been heartbroken over the tragic demise of Salem legend Victor Kiriakis. But then, it was an inevitable event, especially, in light of John Aniston’s passing. As painful as it is to say bye to such an iconic character, we guess it would have been even more painful and an outright injustice to recast Victor. Hence, this had to happen, and happen off-screen. However, that doesn’t mean that DOOL’s trademark drama would not follow! But what could be so “dramatic” about a jet-crash? Well, let’s find out!
Victor Has His Will Destroyed Right Before Death
It has been well-establish that Victor Kiriakis died on Days of Our Lives in a jet-crash enroute Greece. However, there has been no light shed on the circumstances of said jet-crash. Even the trip that Victor took towards Greece was so sudden and secretive that even Maggie was unaware. Interestingly, some DOOL spoilers suggest that Victor himself had his will destroyed before embarking on the journey that became his final one. Apparently, he called his attorney and asked him kill the will.
But why would he do that really? Especially, before drawing up a new one on Days of Our Lives. It really does not make much sense. Moreover, in the absence of his explicit will, his widow, Maggie Kiriakis will inherit everything. But there is a massive twist here! Is Maggie even really his legal widow? Well, at least not according to the claims of Victor’s other wife! Is there more to this tale than what’s meeting our eyes right now? The way this story is unfolding, it seems like there could be a lot more to Victor’ death than just an accidental plane-crash.
Vivian Claims To Be Victor’s Widow, Guilty of Sabotage on Day of Our Lives?
Previously, on Days of Our Lives, when Vivian arrived at Victor’s funeral reception, she made an earth-shattering claim. She announced to everyone that she and Victor were still legally married at the time of his death. Thus, making her his widow, and nullifying Maggie and Victor’s marriage. Of course, nobody bought Vivian’s story. However, in a shocking twist, when Justin checked the documents at the registry office, he discovered that Vivian is indeed telling the truth. Which also means that in the absence of his will, Vivian will inherit all his wealth!
But this is Days of Our Lives we are watching! When is anything ever so clean and straight cut? Thus, chances are Vivian is just pulling a very elaborate and well panned ruse. Perhaps, she had the paperwork altered at the registry office to make it look like she and Victor never got divorced. Moreover, DOOL spoilers tease that Alex and Brady will make some shocking discovery in Greece. It may have something to do with the plane-crash that caused Victor’s death.
