‘ABP’ Bear Brown Promotes Children’s Charity In Cosplay Contest
Bear Brown has been promoting the cosplay competition he is in. However, most of his posts have been asking for votes and talking about his love of cosplay. With only one day left for voting, Bear is promoting the children’s charity involved with the contest.
Here is what Bear had to say and what the charity is all about.
Bear Brown promotes cosplay children’s charity
Bear Brown is in a cosplay competition for a site called Cosplay Star and he is heading into the finals based on his current spot in the voting. With less than a day remaining on this round, Bear wanted to let fans know what this competition does to help children.
Cosplay Star is working with the Starlight Children’s Foundation when it comes to people voting for their favorites to win the contest. A person can vote for Bear to win for free. However, they can also donate $10 to the Starlight Children’s Foundation and get to cast 20 votes for Bear. They can also donate $25 for 50 votes, $50 for 100 votes, or $100 for 200 votes.
While this might seem like a lot of money for some people just to vote for Bear to win a cosplay competition, that isn’t what the donations are about. Instead, the money donated goes to the foundation itself, and that is something that is important for Bear as he tries to win.
Bear took to his Instagram account and posted a little about the foundation. “It’s for the Starlite children’s foundation! Which is a super awesome organization set up to help provide cool stuff for kids in need! You can follow the link in my bio to check it out!” he wrote while reminding people that voting is coming to a close.
Here is what you need to know about the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
What is Starlight Children’s Foundation
The Starlight Children’s Foundation is an organization dedicated to delivering happiness to seriously ill kids. They help out kids at over 800 children’s hospitals and healthcare facilities in the United States.
This is mostly about bringing things to seriously ill children, allowing them to have fun while dealing with medical issues. On the foundation’s website, it mentions that a $10 donation could give a child up to 10 hours of virtual reality gameplay. $15 could offer up to 15 hours of gameplay for a child as they deal with various illnesses.
$35 could offer clothing and fun gowns for the kids to wear while undergoing their treatment. Every year, Starlight sends hundreds of thousands of books, toys, games, arts & crafts, and other items to hospitalized kids. While it seems like fun and games, anything to help a kid smile while dealing with these traumatic issues is worth it. Support Bear Brown or his opposition, and help these kids.
