Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) is set to find himself in serious danger in upcoming Emmerdale scenes when he is taken hostage by sinister gangster Harry (Robert Beck).

Mack has spent the last year flitting from Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) to Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) and back again, which has finally proved too much for Chloe, who has been left to look after their son, Reuben.

Because of this, she made the decision to leave the village and take Reuben with her, promising to never let Mack see him again.

However, Mack wasn’t prepared to give in, and soon went out of his way to try and track her down, causing Chloe to run to the only person she could think of to scare him off: Her dad, Harry.

Viewers will know that Harry is not someone to be messed with, having left even Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) shaking in his welly boots earlier this year when he kidnapped Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).

This time, it is Mack that Harry has bound and gagged in an abandoned building, as a new spoiler video shows.

Harry is as menacing as ever as he asks Mack if he’s had time to think, to which Mack points out that he hasn’t had the opportunity to do much else.

When Harry takes off Mack’s blindfold, the two-timer is disappointed to realise that he doesn’t know who Harry is, something which the gangster is quick to pick up on.

In a bid to scare him, Harry begins to list members of Mack’s close family, including Charity and his sister Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb).

When Mack tries to explain who Moira’s husband is, he is totally unaware of Harry and Cain’s previous altercations, so his warning doesn’t have the desired affect.

As Harry continues to list all of the family members Mack has, Mack is quick to point out that they would soon come after him, refusing to show Harry that he is afraid.

However, when Harry pulls out Mack’s phone, which doesn’t have a single notification on it, it becomes clear just how alone Mack truly is, and just how much danger he could be facing.

Will Mack get out of this predicament alive?
