Charley Webb narrowly misses awkward run in with Matthew Wolfenden’s new girlfriend after split and cheating denial
Charley Webb reportedly narrowly missed an awkward run in with her ex Matthew Wolfenden’s new girlfriend this weekend.
The Emmerdale star, 35, took their kids to see him in his new theatre show – Elf, which also stars his new lady.
Matt is currently playing the lead Buddy at London Dominion’s theatre and has found love with Heather Stanley, who is the swing/dance captain in the production.
According to reports on OK! Online, Charley and Heather just missed each other at the theatre – leaving within minutes of each other.
Charley showed that things are still amicable with Matt as she shared a snap of the stage as she joined her kids Buster, 13, Bowie, eight, and Ace, four.
She wrote: “Feeling Christmassy.
“The kids are having the time of their life watching their dad.”
Charley and Matthew were married five years, and released a joint statement on their Instagram accounts last month insisting they will remain friends.
Matthew was then seen kissing in the street with his new girlfriend – leaving fans gobsmacked he had moved on.
He later clarified the situation, telling fans: “Just to set the record straight.”
Over the top of a picture of him walking hand in hand with personal trainer and actress Heather Stanley, who also goes by the name Heather Scott-Martin, Matthew called reports he’d cheated an “out and out lie”.
He then wrote: “Can you leave us alone now?”
Ending on a lighter not, he told fans he was “glad to get that off my chest” followed by a laughter emoji.
He then cheekily told them they can watch them on stage together in Elf The Musical.
